I would just like to echo what Bryan said, no one person is bigger than any community (belive me some people think so lol) !

You can only do your best to keep influential members, in my experiance people come and go from communitys all the time, of course it depends a lot on if people have a problem with the way you run your community, which is a whole different problem !
