Thanks so much for sharing this with us all. I've been a big Ning fan but had no idea there were so many network being created daily: 5000!! Wow. Now that I think about it, Ning has probably made a bigger impact on my personal learning path over the last 3 years than any other single social media tool. It's changed the way I think, I think ;-) I went into Ning before I joined Facebook... and I find I still expect to LEARN in Nings and to socialize in Facebook.
