		<description><![CDATA[Powerful statistics, Angela! Thanks so much for sharing this with us all. I&#039;ve been a big Ning fan but had no idea there were so many network being created daily: 5000!! Wow. Now that I think about it, Ning has probably made a bigger impact on my personal learning path over the last 3 years than any other single social media tool. It&#039;s changed the way I think, I think ;-) I went into Ning before I joined Facebook... and I find I still expect to LEARN in Nings and to socialize in Facebook. Because Nings can be topic or special interest focused, they hold so much potential as PLNs. Thanks again!]]></description>
